It\u2019s full of bugs, of course but written on the maschine directly. Wait for the typewriter .-) But you can see the \u2018potential\u2019 .-) The game makes full use of the TeletypeConsole2072\u2019s capabilities. It starts with the YM sound capabilities and voice output, followed by sound effects and \u2013 of course \u2013 the various cursor movements: moving forwards to build the track and backwards to drive along it .-)<br>Code it on and with paper, then play. The whole thing is 100% BASIC. Additional commands to Dartmouth BASIC include an INKEY command and a WaitMS command. The rest is very old .-)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/research.swissdigitization.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_4898.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About the TeleTypeConsole 2072: Olympia de luxe, a reverse-engineered keyboard simulation and an Arduino Gigaboard controlling it, simulation BASIC. And, of course, a USB keyboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Programming on the TeletypeConsole72 is hardcore in BASIC. But you soon realise why BASIC is the way it is \u2013 and, of course, why \u2018PRINT\u2019 is called \u2018print\u2019 .-) Line numbers were a brilliant idea back in the day, and it\u2019s no wonder they became the standard for all 8-bit computers. This is where the racing programme shown above was created.
