Ein Vorteil von Shareware (gerade um 1995 herum) für den Produzenten war, dass er normale Kanäle nutzen konnte zur Verbreitung wie BBS oder Gameheftchen (später Ftps und Webseite). Diese lebten teilweise auch von diesem Inhalt. Die Software musste dabei nicht doppelt verteilt werden: Demo- und dann Orginal nochmals schicken, da das Sharewaregame meist schon das gesamte Game enthielt und nur freigeschaltet werden musste. Später war es möglich einfach den Code statt per Brief per Email zu verschicken. Dadurch fielen wiederum Kosten weg.

bonYx is a shareware game like "tetris".
the demo has 8 level. the registered version has 22 levels.
System requirements:
- computer: 68020 or greater
- system: 7.1 - 8.0
- colors: 256 up to 32000
- resolution: 640x480 or greater

How to install:
bonYx 2 needs no special installation. If you have a floppy-disc
version it must be extracted to the harddisc.
the media should not be locked otherwise the highscore will not
be saved.
